Sunday School
Radcliff United Methodist Church believes in making disciples! We are committed to growing in the likeness of Christ! We understand that "study" plays an important role in our journey toward reaching that goal. Therefore, we offer several Sunday school classes and small groups where one can join with others in their pursuit for holiness. Sunday School Classes: Sunday's from 9:45 a.m.- 10:45 a.m. A nursery with certified attendants is available for infants and toddlers. Pre-School through 3rd grade are invited to join us in the Kids Zone for the"best hour of your child's week." Children are actively engaged in learning with wonderful caring adults. Each week is creative, dynamic and packed full of loads of fun! Come check it out! Our Pre-teens (4th-6th grades) meet with Mitch Willis on Main Street. They are using the GRAPPLE curriculum from Group Publishing. This is a new and exciting ministry. David & Tina Rudder also meet with our Pre-teens twice a month for times of fun and fellowship. 7th grade through 12th grade meet with Denise Haynes and Tracey Peterson on Main Street. They spend time studying the Scriptures and seeing how its message applies to their everyday lives. Covenant Keepers Adult Sunday School class meets on Main Street. The teacher is Glenn Peeler, Sr. This group is comprised of a mixture of ages. They enjoy studying the Scriptures and spending time in fellowship. Low Threat Adult Sunday School class meets downstairs in the Library / Conference room. This class is "low threat" and comprised of all ages. You do not need to worry about being called on to pray out loud or for knowing all the right answers. This class moves at your own pace and is a wonderful way to learn more about God and what His Word means to us today. Koinonia Adult Sunday School Class meets upstairs in the Susannah Wesley room. This class is comprised of mostly senior adults but is open to anyone. They spend time studying each book of the Bible in-depth. Charles Daliere is the teacher. Young Adult Sunday School class. "Carriers of the Word" --Bill Butler is leading this group and they meet on Main Street as well. A light breakfast is served at 9:30 a.m. for the adults and their children with class beginning around 9:45 a.m. Come join us on Sunday mornings!! Small Groups Willis Small Group meets on Thurday's from 5:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Joyce Conn's house: 718 Yates Drive, Radcliff. Group is for individuals or couples. POC: MItch Willis- slatewillis@bbtel.com JOY Small Group meets on Tuesday's from 12:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. at the church. Group is for women of any age. Childcare is provided. POC: Doris Dozier- bddozier@toast.net WSG Small Group (Women Serving God) meets on Tuesday's from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the church. Childcare is provided. This group is for women of any age. POC: Sandy Townsend sandypu@aol.com Men's Small Group meets on Tuesday's from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the church. This group is open to men of all ages. They do a verse by verse study of the Bible. CHEERS Small Group meets on Tuesday's from 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m at the church. This group is comprised of women. Childcare is provided. POC: Elehsa Butler LOL small Group meets every other Friday at Frankie and Kaye Nunn's house in Elizabethtown from 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. This group is a couple's group. Childcare is provided.
