Discipleship

Radcliff UMC offers alot in the area of Discipleship.  We have a vibrant Sunday School program for all ages, Kindergarten through adults that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. 
 
  • Children Kindergarten through 2nd grade and 3rd-5th grades meet in the Kids Zone on the lower level.
  • Youth  (6th-12th grade) meet on Main Street on the lower level.
  • Covenant Keepers Adult class meets on Main Street on the lower level.
  • Low Threat Adult class meets in the Library on the lower level.
  • Koinonia Adult class meets in the Susannah Wesley room on the upper level.
  • Carriers of the Word Young Adult class meets on Main Street on the lower level.
We believe that being in a small group is vital to our personal growth and relationship with Christ.  RUMC has many small groups:
 
  • Willis Small Group is a group of men and women who meet on Thursday's from 5:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Joyce Conn's house, 718 Yates Drive, Radcliff.  Mitch and Carole Willis are the leaders, they can be contacted at:  slatewillis@bbtel.com.
  • JOY Small Group is a group of women who meet on Tuesday's from 12:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. at the church.  Doris Dozier is the leader.  She can be contacted at:  bddozier@toast.net.
  • WSG (Women Serving God) Small group is a group of women who meet on Tuesday's from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the church.  Childcare is provided.  Sandy Townsend is the leader for this group.  She can be contacted at sandypu@aol.com.
  • Men's Small group is a group of men who meet on Tuesday's from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the church.  Childcare is provided.  Art Leach is the leader.  He can be contacted at artleach@gmail.com.
  • LOL Small Group is a mixed group of couple's and singles in the 30's-40's that meets every other Friday from 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. at the Butler's house in Rineyville.  Childcare is provided.  Bill & Elesha Butler are the leaders and can be contacted at:  bluehogbill@yahoo.com or elesha.butler1@us.army.mil 
  • Couples Group- is a group of couples of mixed ages that meets every other Saturday.  Tracie Fulkerson is the leader:  tracielynn@marykay.com  
We offer classes 101, 201, 301, and 401 that help us grow closer to Christ:
 
  • Class 101-"Discovering Church Membership"- this class is required prior to joining the church.  Bro. Art is the teacher of this class.  You can sign up for this class on-line:  www.radcliffumc.org/requests.
  • Class 201- "Discovering Your Spiritual Maturity"- this class is the second in our series.  Bro. Art is currently  teaching this class.   You can sign up for this class on-line:  www.radcliffumc.org/requests.  Class 101 is a prerequisite for this class.
  • Class 301- "Discovering Your Ministry"- this is the third in our series.  Pastor Kaye teaches this class.  You can sign up for this class on-line:  www.radcliffumc.org/requests.  Class 101 and 201 are prerequisites for this class.
  • Class 401- "Discovering Your Mission"- this is the fourth in our series.  Pastor Kaye teaches this class.   You can sign up for this class on-line:  www.radcliffumc.org/requests.  Class 101, 201, and 301 are prerequisites.
We also have many members who are active in the Elizabethtown Emmaus Community.  We offer a summer Vacation Bible School program as well as many other events throughout the year.
